On 18 October, together with violinist Reinier Havinga, I had the opportunity to contribute to a gathering in theatre the Tamboer in Hoogeveen around the presentation of the new memorial stones (Stolpersteine) in Hoogeveen. Stones in memory of Jews and other victims of World War II who were deported and murdered. A programme of 10 pieces with exclusively Jewish-oriented music such as Shindler’s List, Sunrise, sunset (Fiddler on the Roof) and Klezmer music.

Many heartwarming responses were received.
